The demand for environmental-friendly curtains is heavy. In the spring of 2010 five of Ljungbergs's new patterns will be printed on organic cotton rep. This means that more than a third, 33 out 84 patterns, will be printed on organic cotton. Ljungberg's is very happy to have proceeded this far.

Today the same pattern can be printed either on organic cotton or as flame-proof. This is possible with several of the patterns in the collection and means that we, in a very distinct way, can meet the different demands of the market.

Ljungberg's are at the moment busy certifying the production with the EU-flower. That is the official environmental symbol of the European Union. 

Ljungberg's also work with GOTS – Global Organic Textile Standard. It was introduced in 2006 to harmonize the various environmental standards that exist globally for textiles.
